Quality Council for Trades & Occupation
The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) is a Quality Council established in terms of the Skills Development Act. Its role is to oversee the design, implementation, assessment and certification of occupational qualifications on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-Framework (OQSF). QCTO qualifications are designed to address industry requirements in terms of the occupations and the result is seen in employability and improve career advancement possibilities for successful leaners. 110942 Occupational Certificate: Supply Chain Practitioner: NQF LEVEL 5, MIN CREDITS 180
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Supply Chain Practitioner who can plan, organised, execute, control and coordinate the activities and inter-relationships across the supply chain environment. A qualified learner will be able to:

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to: Carry out basic assessments of communities, households’ groups and individuals.
99714 Occupational Certificate: Safety Health and Quality practitioner, NQF Level 3, 256 Credits
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner. An Occupational Health and Safety Practitioners serve as a facilitator and advisor to employees and management regarding safety and health aspects in the workplace including the monitoring and

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to: Carry out basic assessments of communities, households’ groups and individuals.
94025 Occupational Certificate: Transport clerk, NQF Level 5, 121 Credits
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner
to operate as a Transport Clerk. A Transport Clerk compiles and keeps records
of operational aspects and coordinates the timing of passenger services in
accordance to a schedule, contract and/or private hire, and prepares reports
for management.

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Road Transport Manager.
97154 Occupational Certificate: Occupational Trainer, NQF Level 4, 124 Credits
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to: Plan, prepare for, coordinate, implement and evaluate learning programmes to achieve occupational trainee competence.
101321 Occupational Certificate: Training and Development practitioner, NQF Level 5, 190 Credits
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Social Auxiliary Worker. This occupation assists in the provisioning of social services and support to individuals, families, groups and communities with regards to a full range of social services and related social welfare matters.
101865 Occupational Certificate: Tourist Information Officer, NQF Level 5, 280 Credits
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Tourist Information Officer. This learner will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in a visitor information centre in popular tourist destinations throughout South Africa.
102161 Occupational Certificate: Office Administrator, NQF Level 5, 445 Credits
Purpose: This occupational qualification provides an opportunity for the learner to acquire a range of administrative skills to coordinate the activities of an office including information management and operational processes.
96368 Occupational Certificate: Clearing and Forwarding Agent, NQF Level 5, 120 Credits
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Clearing and Forwarding Agent.
A Clearing and Forwarding Agent carries out customs clearing procedures and ensures that insurance, export/import licences, and other formalities are in order to facilitate the movement of cargo internationally and locally, and ensures compliance with current legislation.
